That's not entirely true in fact write me up a build with prices and let's see this superior budget Pc for 300 to 400 with wires and remote and even game or games included and I won't even bring up that not everyone can build a PC or wants to and that fact will still remain that it will still cost more to build and maintain a any gaming PCthen what it cost to buy and maintain any console. You can find issues and critique evey platform none are perfect or the master race that's for sure. Honestly real gamers own and buy all platforms that have the games they want and speak the truth and don't try and act like everything is better and perfect even when it's not all platforms have their strengths and weakness and none are perfect and all can be better and that especially means gaming on PC for sure since while you can't beat the power you can have with a PC fact is you don't get the best ports nor do games always work as they should on every PC and hardware nevermind some of the policies with gaming on PCs. Now I love my gaming PC and built it myself and love building PCs and would recommend it to anyone but I still know the facts and what the reality of things are and don't act like fanboy. Consoles are for your average gamer while PCs are for your enthusiast who likes to have the best of everything which is fine but that doesn't guarantee or mean the best games as consoles have proven for years and still rule the gaming industry and have the best games available which is what sells platforms first not hardware.

Most PC gamers still play on 1080p and only a small percentage even own high end gaming pcs and do 4k in fact I my Gaming PC can handle 4K yet I still stick to 1080p and 2K resolutions because of prices on 4K screens ain't worth it so I bought a 700 dollar video card to play on 1080p mostly with some 2k once and while.

Now as far as right now they don't need it and would lose money sconsidering prices and the market as it is and fact that most people still stuck on 720p and 1080p resolutions screens you don't need 4K or even max settings to enjoy games nor does it mean it will be a good game or better for having it. Most people still don't own or use 4K and won't until it becomes more affordable just as people did with 1080p and when more people own start to own and by 4K screens then I'm sure consoles will eventually come around and adapt if it's needed but if not oh well since most people not gonna care unless they are some kind of hardcore enthusiast with hardware and gaming.
